Mission Statement: Delivery of the highest quality fresh fruits and vegetables while supporting the South San Diego community.
Pairing business with charity, FITB makes it possible to both answer consumer need for fresh produce and care for the community’s most vulnerable. As an NPO under Murphy’s Produce with Purpose, FITB has made it possible to donate food to our food-insecure families throughout San Diego County twice a week for the past two years. For each box purchased independently through Murphy’s Produce with Purpose, another is donated through FITB.
Fruit in the Box is pleased to partner with local chefs, restaurants, and nutritionists to create cooking tutorials and nutritional education. In this way, we can help ensure mindful eating habits and healthier kids throughout the community.
